匿名 asked: As someone living in Japan and who recently made a trip to Tokyo--that's not true about the garbage cans. You can find some at stations and outside of convenience stores. Of course it will be divided up into PET bottle, plastic, can, and burnables most likely.

Agreed! As someone who LIVED in Tokyo for years, there were plenty of garbage cans & recycling bins whenever you needed one. They always appeared very neat & never messy/unkempt.
